Izzy is an obsessive computational biologist studying the relationships between plants and fungi.

One day, as she works, she hears a strange low hum emanating from a nearby greenhouse. When she enters, she is drawn to a mysterious flower trapped behind a glass case. In a daze, she steals a pod lying below it and brings it home to plant it in her apartment.

That night as she sleeps, the pod grows and mutates into a strange flower. Soon, the boundaries between plant and human, self and other, start to decompose, challenging Izzy’s understanding of herself and her part in the world.
