Set in 1968, WHEN I WAS A BOY is a poignant coming of age comedy about Jac (Jacqueline), a 12-year-old tomboy, and the incidents surrounding her first bra. At first oblivious to the war between the sexes, she becomes a key combatant when she's forced to accept her womanly features. With a kooky sidekick, Jac takes on the neighborhood bully and finds out what a bra is really good for.
