UBUNTU'S WOUNDS
Synopsis
Ubuntu's Wounds looks at one man's disappointment with South Africa's Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) for granting amnesty to the person who killed his wife. Having escaped from one of the infamous 'death farms' of the apartheid era where he witnessed his wife's horrific demise, Lebo Manaka, a black South Aftican fled his country in fear of his life. Seventeen years later while living in Los Angeles, he bumps into Danie Venter, the white South African ex-secret Police Officer who committed this heinous crime.
