Carl and Sophie Phillips and their two young children live in a world where people thrive on a constant diet of violence as entertainment. Celebrity agents torture and execute "transgressors" on prime time TV. Carl, a human garbageman dreaming of a better life, has enrolled his son in the Agent Training Camp.
