THE YARD SALE is a dramatic comedy that explores the intimate relationship between three generations of women at a family yard sale. Anne meara is Hank, a woman who suffers from Alziemer's disease. her daughter Abbie, must go through Hank's belongings in preparation for her move to a nursing home. Sophie, Abbie's daughter, doesn't agree with the decision to sell Grandma's possessions. Tensions run high when the family must decide which memories to part with and which to keep. This story illustrates the emotional bond people have to material possessions and ultimately, how the real memories lie in the heart, not in the objects themselves.
