THE RECORDIST follows Charlie Hall (Brit Marling), a directionless college student who discovers that her fate may be determined by a cosmic plot to record the events that shape human history. Always the outsider, Charlie meets an eccentric old woman named Avis Dauphin (Annie O'Donnell) who claims to hold the key to Charlie's true identity. Together these two women hunt down the clues that may uncover the mystery of Charlie's past and point to her impending fate as a RECORDIST.
