Satire set in 1958. Life in suburban America is uneventful for Betsy, a run-of-the-mill 12 year old girl- until Ethyl, an extraordinary blonde bachelorette, moves in next door. Behyl has it all - a good looking boyfriend named Kent, a glamorous wardrobe, multiple careers, and a pink dream house. As Ethyl leads Brandy into a world she's longed to be a part of, an idealized, absurd vision of adulthood and fondness for the color pink begin to clash with the realities of growing up in Suburbia.
