TEA AND COFFEE
Synopsis
"Tea and Coffee" follows JiaMu Chin's search for a meaningful relationship in America as she struggles to preserve her tradtional values. Confused and tentative about her sexuality after her brief marriage fails, JiaMu re-enters the dating scene by placing a personal ad. Convinced that a purely sexual relationship with a man will give her the sexual confidence she believes American men require of women, JiaMu agrees to meet Brian, who clearly states he is merely seeking a physical liason. Several encounters with Brian leave JiaMu even further away from attaining the insight and detachment she believed she would gain from the relationship. As JiaMu struggles with her feelings for Brian, she must learn that love and sex are a delicate brew.
