Synopsis
SOUND OF A VOICE is an adaptation of a David henry hwang one-act play that explores the gender differences and cultural intolerances through an encounter between a witch and a Samurai.The fable begins with the Samurai dispatched by the village to kill the witch who lives in the woods and is believed to imprison men's souls. When she encounters him, he finds himself disarmed by her open heart. The two match wits over a formal tea ceremony, a martial arts contest and a deadly game of sword play - only to find themselves drawn together and pulled apart.
