Synopsis
The story is following Itsuki, a sushi chef working under his father and Sushi Master Mr. Hashimoto. The father has a traditional philosophy of sushi making, very different from Itsuki's who wants to use food to connect with costumers' emotions in his own way. When Mr. Hashimoto has to give up his "role" because of sickness, Itsuki will have to decide between repeating his father's ritual or following his own path.
