Based on a story by H.E. Francis, about a young man, Field, haunted by a woman from his past. He has left the family farm for life in the big city where he works construction by day and dances himself to exhaustion by night. His younger brother comes to visit and when Field passes out on the dance floor, John Paul tries to convince him to return home. Through the conflict of the two brothers, Field's past is revealed, including the tragic incident which will always haunt him.
