Abe Rose, an aging comic, finds humor in everything. But he has a serious side too. He plans to fulfill his lifelong dream: to have the bar mitzvah, he missed out on as a boy. He will share the momentous event with his 13-year old grandson, Benjamin--his pride and joy. Two weeks before the bar mitzvah Benjamin finds Jesus. No matter how hard Abe tries, he can't find the humor.
