A comedy/drama about two estranged sisters who have to meet in a small California town when their mother dies. Maude is a burned-out musician from LA and Maryanne is retarded and dries lettuce for a salad bar. During the course of the afternoon, together these two stubborn redheads beat a path through local coffee shops, shoe stores and gas stations while defending their own twisted truths.
