Time is running out for John Riles, a Dallas police detective. Afraid he will soon be laid off, John is desperate to solve the case that has haunted him since he was a rookie cop: the murder of Lee Harvey Oswald. John finds himself drawn into a nightmare of distorted reality. His search culminates in Police Chief Kanner's office, which John believes to be the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository. The only way out seems to be rewriting history--stopping Oswald before he sets the chain of events in motion. In the end, however, John finds that history has not been rewritten--only revealed.
