To meet the stressful demands of home and career, single mom Kate Holcomb relies on the help of Rosa Munez, her Latina nanny, to raise six-year-old Carrie and run their home. Both Kate and Carrie cherish Rosa as a member of their small family. However, when a Hispanic man breaks into the Holcomb house and assaults Kate, Rosa's strange behavior begins to erode Kate's trust in her.
