Molly Stewart is having another birthday. She's depressed. Her master plan failed. Her career is shaky. Single, she lives alone with her Macaw, Shakespeare, feels old, unwanted, and invisible. Molly seeks guidance from her best friend, Larry, whose advice is to "live in the moment." Just as Molly begins to feel better about herself, she receives bad news. Larry's been killed in a car accident. Devastated, Molly reluctantly attends Larry's memorial service. She watches his greedy sisters turn Larry's memorial into a garage sale as they liquidate his estate. Realizing the sisters have no intention of honoring Larry's last wishes, Molly takes it upon herself to fulfill her friend's final request.
