Twelve year-old Jeremy just wants to hang out with his two best friends, Mark and Tim, at their childhood fort, but they are finding new interests to fill their time. When Mark and Tim don’t meet Jeremy one day as promised, he believes they have betrayed him, and in a violent outburst, destroys their sacred hideout. When his friends discover the destruction, Jeremy blames it on two older boys who have built a fort nearby. As the boys take revenge by destroying the rival fort, they are caught in the act, and a fight breaks out with the older boys. As it escalates, Jeremy must intervene to prevent a disaster and expose his lie at the risk of losing his closest friends.
