Brent and Perry, a broke but in-love couple, are on a cross-country road trip to deliver stacks of cash that isn't theirs to purchase large amounts of very illegal weed to transport back to NYC. When Brent is informed that the weed courier has been arrested, Perry sees an opportunity and squeezes their boss for $20,000 to drive it back. With a trunk full of skunk and the road under them, Brent and Perry's journey heats up when they're pulled over by an intuitive highway patrol officer who suspects there's a little more going on than Brent and Perry are telling her.
