After the only man she loved is forced to mutilate her at gun point, Catherine takes a life on the road. Catherine runs out of gas in the middle of nowhere. Edward comes to Catherine's rescue and promises her gas at her brother's ranch. At the ranch, Catherine is introduced to Michael, Edward's brother and Sheriff Davis.
