Synopsis
In 19th-century China, young Pei-Ling has her feet bound in preparation for a life as wife and princess. Her world and her passage from childhood exuberance to despair, and finally to the discovery of her own inner worth, is the journey Kalito must take in order to accept the life she must lead.
