Ming is a Chinese teen disillusioned by the rules of society. In the free-spirited Ace, however, Ming finds a reprieve from these restrictions, and the freedom to live her life on her own terms. But when the girls' bond is tested, the pressures of society resurface. Ming is forced to question, once and for all, who she is and where she belongs.
