HE BOP! looks back with humor to the day of the Reagan Assassination attempt, where 16 year-old Ryan Walker, guided by the spirit of his eccentric grandmother (played by Mink Stole), struggles to find his identity on a night that will change his life forever. Ryan's search for a disco advertised on a book of matches becomes a search for self-realization.
