GOD AT SEVEN
Synopsis
GOD AT SEVEN is a poignant story that captures the profound moment when the imaginative and ethereal world of a child collides with the corporeal world, initiating the loss of innocence. The film follows the journey of Kate, a sensitive, seven-year-old on a weekend visit to the chaotic and unstable world of her father. Kate's only security is her accordion and the music it plays. Kate is introduced to a family whose religious way of life offers stability and answers to Kate's questions about God. Kate accepts this world and its angelic interpretation of death. However, when death strikes, her newfound faith in God and in angels is shattered by the hypocritical, adult world.
