"Fraud" tells the story of Wanna, a caring young woman who feels compelled to commit check fraud in an effort to support her mother,Deborah. In self defense, Wanna accidentally kills her volatile partner in crime. We follow Wanna, showing her conflicted psyche in actions as she questions her religious beliefs and then, in an attempt to gain absolution, she embarks on a journey to find her victim's mother - to no avail. Yet, Wanna eventually finds a kind of forgiveness where she least expects it.
