Rodrigo, an inmate, plans to testify against a dangerous prisoner named Luis in exchange for early release via deportation. His lawyer has made a deal with the District Attorney which includes an offer of witness protection for Rodrigo’s estranged daughter, Laura. Rodrigo expects Laura to sign immediately, but his plan is complicated when Laura is reluctant to give up her life for a father that she barely knows. Rodrigo must convince Laura to take the offer before Luis discovers his betrayal and sends his men after Laura.
