Tanya is a young, black woman embarassed because she can't dance. After suffering humiliation in a hip hop class, she mees a dance champion named Jeff. He thinks she's a good dancer and introduces her to the world of rhythm- less dance: dancing with no rhythm and no beat. Although her family is not happy, Tanya enters the rhythm-less dance competition and comes in second place.
