Nordstrom, a wealthy corporate businessman in his mid-forties, is fed up with his life. It is safe, predictable, boring and never requires his taking a risk. Four years after his wife has left him because he's become sfae. predictable and boring, his father dies. With his daughter engaged to be married he no longer has anyone to be responsible to. When he decides to quit his job, sell the house, give all the money to his daughter and leave town looking for adventure, he gets more than he bargains for. His wife reappears offering to come back to him, a dangerous underworld character threatens his life and he must choose between the safe path he has always taken or tempt fate and face the challenge of a lifetime.
